Michael joined TLM in 2014. As Senior Vice President, Michael spearheads the leasing and redevelopment activities of the company. Prior to joining TLM, Michael spent 12 years as a Principal with Benbrooke Realty Investment Company, where he oversaw the leasing of the 2.1 million square foot portfolio, co-led acquisitions and served as an asset manager. During his tenure at Benbrooke, Michael developed and supervised the launch of Pretium Property Management LLC.

Michael grew up in Great Neck, NY. He graduated from American University with a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate Finance Urban Planning and subsequently attended Columbia University where he earned a Master of Science in Real Estate Development.

Andrew joined TLM in 2014. As Vice President, he is responsible for a diverse portfolio of TLM efforts, including strategy, finance, joint venture, investment, legal, design and entitlement. Prior to joining TLM, Andrew was the Sustainability Planner at the University of Virginia, where he spearheaded the development of a comprehensive sustainability practice at the University, highlighted by commitments to reduce the UVA's emissions. He is also the co-founder of Williams Corner Wine, a natural wine importer and regional distributor based in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Andrew grew up in Bethesda, Maryland. He received a BS in Geography from the University of Maryland, a Master of Urban and Environment Planning from the University of Virginia, and an MBA from the Darden School of Business at UVA.

Matt Gross has dedicated his career to innovating and building affordable housing, economic opportunity, and sustainable communities. He believes that being “progressive” means actually working to create policies and programs that produce needed services and opportunities, particularly within communities of color. Matt's extensive knowledge of public policy, process, and development, combined with a commitment to ensuring that the use of such be committed to productive and inclusive housing development, contribute to his successful track record as a developer who creates socially, economically, and environmentally responsible projects.

Professionally, Matt is an Executive Officer for Lettire Construction Corporation (Lettire) and Managing Director and Partner for Urban Builders Collaborative LLC (UBC), the development affiliate of Lettire, where he is responsible for $700 million of development in all phases, consisting of 1,200 apartments. As a volunteer, Matt has provided countless hours of pro bono support to many nonprofits, Black and Latino organizations, and community-based groups, lending his expertise to assist them in developing realistic projects, goals, and services for the communities they represent. He has been involved in the creation of safe and supportive spaces for domestic violence survivors, at-risk LGBTQ members, and people with mental health challenges.

He applies his talent and knowledge to create countless quality affordable housing projects and employment opportunities for people in underserved communities. Mila has been a cornerstone of our team since 2001, bringing nearly 24 years of dedication and expertise. She is a proud alumna of St. John’s University, of which she graduated in 2000. She excels in managing property lease renewals, maintaining rent rolls, and corresponding with tenants. Mila supports the Vice President in many diverse and varied ways, providing invaluable research and administrative support to both the Vice President and President. Her professionalism and commitment are key to our continued success, and her meticulous handling of real estate property tax files and compliance with taxing authorities ensures smooth operations.

Brighton joined TLM in 2024. As an Analyst, he assists the Vice President in financial and data analysis for TLM’s portfolio, including NPV modeling, budget tracking, and market research. His work supports data-informed decision-making across projects, helping to align strategic goals with actionable insights. Originally from Charlottesville, Virginia, Brighton attended the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce, where he concentrated in Management and IT with a track in Business Analytics. Outside of work, he is an accomplished pianist and enjoys performing at weddings and concerts.

Ashton joined TLM Realty part-time in 2022 and supports both analytical and administrative operations in the Charlottesville office. She assists in evaluating commercial real estate opportunities, preparing reports, and supporting transaction processes. As a commissioned notary public, Ashton also manages document execution and signatures, ensuring that paperwork is properly prepared, signed, and filed in compliance with legal and procedural standards.

Ashton is passionate about food and cooking, and loves exploring new cuisines both in the kitchen and while traveling. Whether trying out a new recipe or planning her next trip, she brings the same curiosity and enthusiasm to her personal interests as she does to her professional work.
